"Europe needs the vision, engagement and participation of all young people to build a better future, that is greener, more inclusive and digital.”

In the context of the BRIDGE project, two events were organized. One called the Balkan Youth Challenge and another event that is organized annually by the Bulgarian partners – TF Fest – that included participants from every partner country. These events are an opportunity for trainees to exhibit and market the products/services of their enterprises in a competitive marketplace to their national and international colleagues. In parallel to this large-scale fair, the events offered trainees competitions and challenges to supplement the programme for added-value events and activities.

WP3 - Balkan Practice Enterprise Trade Fair

BUCT holds TF Fest each year with participation of policy-makers from EU-level at the trade fair and business competitions as speakers and judges, as well as a number of important mentor company representatives and high-ranking members of local and regional government. Trade fair and business competition events offer the opportunity to invite key stakeholders as keynote speakers or judges. The special focus and inclusion of youth from across the Western Balkans provided a wider regional flavour to the events. The Trade Fair allows trainees to put the marketing, communications, negotiations and global business skills they have learned in the Practice Enterprise to be tested with both European and Western Balkan colleagues. The goal was to create multinational teams, combining youth from across the Western Balkans and the EU for teambuilding and cooperation.

WP4 - Balkan Youth Challenge

The Balkan Youth Challenge event gathered young people from the BRIDGE partner countries to showcase their professional skills and the business acumen they have developed in a multinational team challenge. The Conference offered the chance for participants to practice their networking and presentation skills and experience linguistic and cultural exchanges with other youth. Participants gained real-world experience for their curriculum vitae, made important contacts in business training from Europe and across the Western Balkans. It provided the opportunity for trainees to develop team-building, communication, and presentation skills as well as to showcase their critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with other trainees from across the Western Balkans.
